Terms & Conditions - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Program
  • The "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Program" (hereinafter referred to as Program) partnered by Yash Raj Films (hereinafter referred to as "Yash Raj")is open to all persons who register on the web site of ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd. ("IBIBO") or to existing IBIBO registered user, being a resident of India and above 18 years of age ("Participant").
  • The term of the Program shall be from December 3, 2008 till January 5, 2009 ("term").
  • To be eligible for the Program , each Participant shall create his/her profile and upload his/her video(s) in which he/she would be required to act, dance, or mimic, dressed like Shahrukh Khan.s character in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. This will be uploaded via "Upload your Video" section on www.rnbdj.ibibo.com ("website").
  • The profiles created and the video(s) uploaded shall be in consonance with the terms and conditions enlisted on the website and shall in no manner be illegal, destructive (containing any virus), profane, provocative, insulting, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or which infringe the confidentiality, privacy or intellectual property rights of any third party or which could hurt the religious sentiments of any community or which could otherwise be considered objectionable. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, in the video(s) uploaded as part of this program is unintentional and purely coincidental.
  • Creation of profiles on the website shall be a compulsory pre requisite for valid entry to the Program. Any Participant not creating such profiles shall be considered as an invalid entry.
  • IBIBO may in its sole discretion, reject any video(s) uploaded by for any reason deemed inappropriate or objectionable.
  • Participants acknowledge that by uploading video(s) on the website, they automatically grant and assign to IBIBO an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty free, worldwide and exclusive, license (a) to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, transmit and display their video(s) (in whole or part) and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, (b) display their video(s) online and offline and permit others to do the same.
  • All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights including obligations as per law, in all videos relating to the Program, uploaded on the website shall remain at all times vested in IBIBO.
  • Entries to this Program shall be open till January 5, 2009. At the end of the term, five winner(s) will be selected nationally (.winners.), by a panel constituting of Shahrukh Khan. The winners shall get to meet and greet with Shahrukh Khan as the prize.
  • Meet and greet of the winners with Shahrukh Khan shall be the sole responsibility of Yash Raj Films. IBIBO will not be made liable in case the winners do not get to meet and greet with Shahrukh Khan, for any reason whatsoever. The scheduling, arranging and execution of the meet and greet with Shahrukh Khan shall be the complete responsibility of Yash Raj Films. IBIBO shall not have any responsibility of the same in event of cancellation of the meeting and may in its sole discretion, give an alternative prize of lesser value.
  • Travel, boarding and lodging (if any) to Mumbai for the winners only shall be arranged by IBIBO. Choice of hotels, airlines and class shall be at the sole discretion of IBIBO.
  • IBIBO will not be liable, in the event that there is no date convenient to the winner(s) or flights are not available.
  • Winner(s) will be announced within 10 days from end of the Program.
  • The winner(s) will be contacted by via e-mail at his/her e-mail address given on the profiles created by him/her and/or on the contact numbers specified by them. Decision of the panel constituted will be final and binding.
  • If the winner(s) are not contactable on his/her email address or no revert from the winner is received within seven days after first attempted notification, IBIBO reserves the right to select an alternative winner(s) and the original winner's entitlement to the prize will lapse.
  • The winners will be required to provide all necessary documentation and other support to facilitate the Company in arranging the meeting with Shahrukh Khan.
  • The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or any other offer. IBIBO reserves the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative of similar value.
  • IBIBO shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received as part of this Program as it may deem fit for any future promotions. By participating in the Program, Participants agree that in the event they are selected as the winner, they consent to participate in any promotional activity (ies) and/or have their name and likeness featured in any promotional material as required, either jointly or individually.
  • Participants consent to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions and release, indemnify and hold harmless IBIBO and its respective affiliates, agents, representatives, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from their breach/non performance of these terms and conditions.
  • IBIBO reserve the right to amend the rules of the Program or extend the period or cancel or discontinue the Program or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.
  • The winner(s) will be responsible for tax(es) as payable under this Program.
  • The employees of IBIBO, Yash Raj, or their Service Providers or any associated companies and members of the immediate family of the employees of the IBIBO and Yash Raj will not be eligible to participate in the Program.
  • No correspondence shall be entertained with regard to the Program.
  • The Program will continue to be governed by the terms of the website.
  • The laws of India govern the Program. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
