Terms & Conditions
- The “iMeet Da Rap Star” (hereinafter referred to as Program) is open to all persons who register on the web site of ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd. (“IBIBO”) or to existing IBIBO registered user, being a resident of India and above 18 years of age (“User”).
- The duration of the Program will be from April 4th 2009 to 14th April (“term”).
- To be eligible for the Program, Users will have to join the Program, become fans, listen to the Rap Star Bohemia’s latest hits uploaded on ibibo.com (“Website”) and vote for their favourite tracks.
- At the end of the term, the top 3 most frequent voters will be chosen by a panel specially constituted by IBIBO (“Winners”). Each Winner will be eligible to meet the Rap Star-Bohemia in person at a venue to be decided by IBIBO and Universal Music.
- Decision of the Panel in this regard shall be final and binding, no correspondence regarding the same shall be entertained by IBIBO. The panel shall have set parameters basis which they shall choose the winners.
- The Winners will be contacted by IBIBO via e-mail at his/her e-mail address given in the profiles created by him/her and will be contacted on their given mobile numbers. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for non receipt of intimation by e-mail.
- If IBIBO is not able to contact the winner(s) on his/her email address or do not get a revert from the winner three days after IBIBO's first attempted notification, IBIBO reserves the right to select an alternative winner(s) and the original winner's entitlement to the prize will lapse.
- The winner will be required to submit documents for their ID proof i.e. copy of the PAN card of the winner(s) and/or any other documents as may be requested for at that point of time. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or any other offer.
- Meeting and greeting of the winners with Bohemia shall be the sole responsibility of Universal Music. IBIBO will not be made liable in case the winners do not get to meet and greet with Bohemia, for any reason whatsoever. The scheduling, arranging and execution of the meet and greet with Bohemia shall be the complete responsibility of Universal Music. IBIBO shall not have any responsibility of the same in event of cancellation of the meeting and may in its sole discretion, give an alternative prize of lesser value.
- Travel, boarding and lodging (if any) for the winners only shall be arranged by IBIBO. Choice of hotels, airlines and class shall be at the sole discretion of IBIBO.
- IBIBO will not be liable, in the event that there is no date convenient to the winner(s) or flights are not available.
- IBIBO shall not be liable for any damage caused to the prize during delivery. In the event of damage caused to the prize during delivery, winner(s) must take up this matter directly with the manufacturer / dealer. IBIBO shall not be liable for any defect or deficiency in the Prizes for any quality, repair or warranty related issues; Winner(s) must contact the manufacturer / dealer directly.
- IBIBO reserves the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative of similar value.
- Pictures of the prizes shown on the website are indicative and may not be representative of the actual products.
- IBIBO shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received as part of this Program as it may deem fit for its future promotions.
- Users consent to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions and release, indemnify and hold harmless IBIBO and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from their breach/non performance of these terms and conditions.
- IBIBO reserve the right to amend the rules of the Program or extend the period or cancel or discontinue the Program or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.
- A registered user can win only once during the term.
- IBIBO shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received as part of this Program as IBIBO may deem fit for any future promotions, either jointly or individually. By participating in the Program, Participants agree that in the event they are selected as the Short Listed Participants, they consent to participate in any promotional activity (ies) and/or have their name and likeness featured in any promotional material as required, either jointly or individually.
- No correspondence shall be entertained with regard to the Contest.
- The employees of IBIBO, Service Providers or any associated companies and members of the immediate family of the employees of the Company will not be eligible to participate in the Program.
- The employees of IBIBO, Eicos Productions, Service Providers or any associated companies and members of the immediate family of the employees of IBIBO will not be eligible to participate in the Program.
- The laws of India govern the Contest. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
- Other terms of the Website shall continue to govern this Program as well.
- ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd. ("IBIBO") is additionally running an activity to the program on its website from 14th April 2009 to 18th May 2009(“term”).
- As part of this activity, Users will be required to join the Program, become fans, listen to the Rap Star Bohemia’s latest hits uploaded on ibibo.com (“Website”) and vote for their favourite tracks.
- At the end of the term, the top 50 most frequent voters will be chosen by a panel specially constituted by IBIBO (“Winners”) and he/she will be eligible to win 50 autographed CDs of Bohemia each.
- Other terms of the Program and the Website shall continue to govern this Activity as well.
